The name Minneapolis combines two languages seamlessly; the Sioux word for water (minne) and the Greek word for city (polis). Just like its name, things tend to come together in St Paul’s Twin City, and it is the same with the MD&M Minneapolis trade show, which comes to the city at the beginning of November.

This leg of the Discover Engineer Build MD&M tour will join the Advanced Manufacturing Minneapolis expo to bring together five expos under one roof so attendees can see the full range of manufacturing offered by companies around the country. Minnesota is one of the best places in the United States for this expo as it is one of the most medically prolific regions with:

  • The largest private health insurer in the US – UnitedHealth Group
  • Four of the US’s top-ranked hospitals in Minneapolis alone
  • The nation’s #1 hospital – Mayo Clinic
  • The location where open-heart surgery was pioneered – University of Minnesota

The show expects to have more than 50 free educational sessions, ranging from digital health and 3D printing to robotics, 550 exhibitors, and 4,500 attendees in 200,000 square feet of the expo floor. This event will present a significant opportunity for exhibitors and attendees alike to raise awareness of the innovations within medical components manufacturing, make connections, and learn about the industry.

November 3-4, 2021, Medical Component Specialists will travel to the Medical Alley of Minnesota for the one-stop, five-in-one manufacturing expo. MCS will prominently feature their QSP (Quick Ship Program) catalogue of products including a variety of French Sized Catheter Forming Mandrels, Lab in a Bag, as well as many other sizes for immediate shipping. MCS will also display corewires, guidewires, in addition to Cam2 guidewire grinding capabilities.

MCS’s full range of medical components will be on display at booth 1143, and include:

  • Step Mandrels
  • PTFE & Paralyne Coated Mandrels
  • Medical Drills
  • Cannulated Drills/Instruments
  • Taps
  • K-Wires
  • Nitinol Bone Staples
  • Nitinol Devices
  • Trocars
  • Cutting Instruments
  • Ortho Pins

If you’re planning to attend this year’s conference, make sure to stop by the Medical Component Specialists’ booth (#1143) to look at the innovative medical instruments on display.
