With the world opening up again as the COVID-19 vaccination rates rise, we are now back into the swing of tradeshow season. Akin to the New York City World fair in 1939, following the great depression, we emerge from quarantine to witness the trade show: The Design. Engineer. Build. Conference. As part of the nation’s leading advanced design and manufacturing event, MD&M (Medical Design and Manufacturing) West returns as one of the first trade shows held in California in the post-pandemic world.

While still called the MD&M West, the conference is also under the title of The Design. Engineer. Build. Conference. The new name comes from the fact that “from 3D printing and biomaterials to robotics and digital health, MD&M West is the largest MedTech expo for suppliers and buyers to discover innovation, engineer new technology, and build life-changing medical devices.”

The show will have a keynote presentation on artificial intelligence and has brought the best in tech together for the last 35 years to showcase the latest designs and capabilities.

MD&M West stated that “the entire medical device design & manufacturing community is here,” which means:

  • 70 countries in attendance
  • 120 educational sessions
  • 600 conference delegates
  • 1,400 exhibitors
  • 13,000 attendees
  • 300,000 square feet of expo floor

On August 10 through the 12, Medical Component Specialists will travel to the premier medical device tradeshow and conference taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center.

MCS’s medical components that will be on display as an exhibitor at booth 1456 are:

  • Ortho PIns
  • Medical Drills
  • Nitinol Bone Staples
  • K-Wires
  • Trocars
  • PTFE & Paralyne Coated Mandrels
  • Step Mandrels
  • Cannulated Drills/Instruments
  • Taps
  • Core Wires
  • Cutting INstruments
  • Nitinol Devices

As a preferred supplier of precision medical components to Medical OEMs worldwide, MCS will be showcasing their master grinding capabilities, which ensure precision and industry-leading quality. Among MCS’s capabilities is their CNC machining, which enables high volume production, and their full in-line manufacturing, which can take medical instruments from design, through production, and into finishing.

If you’re planning to attend this year’s conference, make sure to stop by the Medical Component Specialists’ booth to look at the amazing medical instruments on display.
